About this Event
“Feral Season” showcases Lisa Cox’s new body of work which embraces the “feral”—the wild and untamed aspects of the creative process and expression through fiber art. The art sheds the expectations surrounding fiber art and instead explores the concept of resisting conventional notions of refinement. Lisa draws inspiration from the wild elements of nature like mushrooms, moss, and lichen, then uses techniques such as crochet, weaving, and felting to create intricate and tactile pieces. This art exhibit is open to the public at Albina Press beginning at the end of October.
The exhibit opening is on November 2nd, 5-7pm.
Registration will open September 23rd.
