To say “farewell for now” to the Hill & Son Grand Organ until it is again able to be heard in a public concert, there is a free “Open Organ Console” Come and Play Day planned for Saturday afternoon 27th July, from 2pm – 4pm at the Barossa Regional Gallery.There will be a short formal organ demonstration by renowned organist, Dr Joshua van Konkelenberg to start the afternoon at 2.00pm, then anyone is welcome to come and play, listen or enjoy the company of Friends. Stay as long or as short as you like. There will be a hot cuppa ready for you. Dress warm!
The Organ Music Society of Adelaide (OMSA) has been invited to join in the music with us on the day.
Entry and participation is free, though a small donation to the care and upkeep of the organ is welcome. See you there!
