About this Event
Local thespian, Brian Lee Finley plays "Sammy Harrington '' a family man and gospel crooner, whose troubles are many. He features the opening song of yuletides with a cameo appearance of The Best Intentions. As the spiraling storyline unwinds, his musical performance promises to uplift the troubled soul. Also, film actor and gospel recording artist, Min. Christopher Lea plays a surprise double role, and brings down the curtains. Tonight’s theatre performance guarantees double the drama and laughs with actress, author, evangelist Candy M. Thomas and Oaklands Film and comedy star Pauletta “PercyMae” Hickerson who switch between 4 characters! Young actors Faith Cooksey (13) plays the beloved “Lillie Harrington”, and gospel rap artist Osiezhe “Young Gifted” Bramah (10) plays “Cassius Harrington” brings the story to its climax with an original poem and dance entitled “Dear Dad”. The feel of “Faith You Can See” is dynamic in costume and design. Your imagination will soar as inner voices tell truths, flashbacks defy time, bodies rise up in spirited pantomime, special effects rain from above, and a surprise ending that will give you a reason to gasp and rejoice. The story could not be told without the anointing of playwright, actress Fayette Foster who plays “Honey Harrington”, Sammy’s strong but sweet wife. Other special guest actors and anointed artists will grace the front and back stage, but you must come to see and believe the world premiere of “Faith You Can See” for yourself.
