Clare based artist Frances Bailey has been painting since 1976 and is an accomplished artist in oils and acrylics. She is the founder of the Mulbin Art Group which is a group of friends who paint together in the Newmarket-on-Fergus area for fun and relaxation. Frances also volunteers her skill and knowledge to teach painting in day care centres in Newmarket on Fergus and Clarecastle. She has held exhibitions in various spaces over the years including Cultúrlann Sweeney Kilkee, Scarriff Library Gallery, Áras Chrónáin Clondalkin, Limerick City Art Gallery, St. Fachnan's Cathedral Kilfenora and many more. Frances paints mainly landscape, seascape and still life. She has a unique gift for disseminating her acquired knowledge of art and is a valued teacher of art in the Clare area.
