About this Event
Cerritos Sheriff's Station is hosting a catalytic converter etching event "ETCH and CATCH", Saturday, June 7th 8am-2pm at the Cerritos Civic Center. Having your catalytic converter etched can act as a theft deterrent. This will also provide law enforcement with valuable information in the event it becomes stolen and later recovered.This event will be provided at NO COST to Cerritos residents and businesses. Residents must present an ID, utility bill, and vehicle registration. ALL must match a Cerritos address.For businesses or employees that work within the city, you must provide an ID, proof of employment, and vehicle registration. Vehicle registration must be in the name of the business or in the name of the employee.Light trucks and passenger vehicles only. We are unable to accommodate certain types of vehicles, such as vehicles that have been modified, have low ground clearance, and/or where the catalytic converter is inaccessible.Appointment times are subject to delay.Any questions contact the Cerritos Special Assignment Team 562-860-0044.
