Join multidisciplinary artist Luis Martin Flores for a workshop in Mexican cultural traditions!About this Event
This is an event for the whole family to make your own "Ofrenda de Muertos" decorations. Paint and decorate sugar skulls, "Calaveritas de Azúcar", or learn how to make colourful carpet pieces with painted wood chips. Participants will experience the art of the "Ofrenda" building, a Mexican altar decorated with symbols of rebirth in remembrance and celebration.
This workshop is located in Room 151 at the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts, Brock University.
