"Delaware in the Struggle for Women's Voting Rights" & 2025 Annual Meeting

We will be hosting the Newark Historical Society's annual meeting on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 7:00 pm at the Newark Senior Center. Anyone is welcome to attend, so please bring your friends. Attendance is free, we just ask that you pre-register because seating is limited. The Newark Historical Society Board of Directors will provide a brief update on the past year, then guest speaker, Dr. Anne Boylan, University of Delaware Professor Emerita of History and Women and Gender Studies, will present her research entitled, "Not the First State, Not the Final State: Delaware in the Struggle for Women's Voting Rights."
