"Culture vs War" with ANTYTILA band - charity event in Cardiff

Благодійний вечір з гуртом в Cardiff - 2 червня

У межах проєкту «Culture vs War» гурт Антитіла спільно з громадою українців у Великій Британії - "Cardiff for Ukraine" and “Support Ukraine”, за ініціативи Міністерства культури та інформаційної політики України, Асоціації “Дивись Українське”, за підтримки Міністерства закордонних справ України, проведе першу серію івентів у трьох містах Великої Британії.

Під час івентів відбудеться показ документального фільму “Culture vs War” та відверта розмова з гуртом АНТИТІЛА у форматі питань-відповідей. Підніматимуться теми героїчної боротьби українського народу проти російських окупантів, благодійних проєктів, музичної діяльності та військової служби гурту Антитіла, а також інші питання, які зацікавлять відівідувачів.

Також в програмі:

• аукціон з унікальними лотами;
• акустичний виступ гурту Антитіла з піснями, які стали частиною життя українців по всьому світу.

Всі, хто завітає на благодійний вечір, зможуть особисто поставити запитання учасникам гурту, придбати лоти на аукціоні, серед яких прапори з підписом Валерія Залужного, Кирила Буданова, трофеї і особисті речі музикантів, що пройшли з ними крізь бойові дії на Київщині та Харківщині, в яких Тарас Тополя, Сергій Вусик та Дмитро Жолудь брали участь як добровольці 130 Батальйону ТРО, а також підспівувати відомі пісні TDME, Лови Момент, Вірила, Фортеця Бахмут та інші.

Про проєкт

Проєкт “Culture vs War” ініційовано Асоціацією «Дивись українське!» у квітні 2022 року задля фіксації та донесення правдивої інформації про війну рф проти України через історії боротьби знаних митців. У війні з росією Україна й українці через невтомний спротив та неймовірний народний героїзм трансформувались в націю переможців, у Країну Героїв. З гідністю долаючи випробування війною, українці переходять на новий рівень самоусвідомлення, самоідентифікації, державності, світової суб’єктності. Героями проєкту є відомі митці, які пішли до лав ЗСУ, та діячі культури, які займаються активною волонтерською діяльністю. Результат проєкту – створення комплексу медійних продуктів у співпраці з українськими діячами культури, котрі через власні конкретні приклади та історії ознайомили світову та українську спільноти з цінностями та сенсами української культури, які допомагають українцям чинити гідний опір агресору.

«Коли Антитіла вивели з передової, перед нами була поставлена чітка задача - доносити до світової спільноти через усі можливі джерела правду про війну, акумулювати ресурси для закриття потреб Сил Оборони, а також через музику, інтерв‘ю привертати увагу до боротьби українського народу проти окупантів. Вже більше року ми цим і займаємося. За період, відколи ми перестали бути задіяні безпосередньо в бойових діях, нами, завдяки підтримці тисяч українців та іноземців по всьому світу зібрано понад 2.000.000 доларів на різні потреби ЗСУ. Щойно ми завершили масштабний проєкт на 10000 якісних аптечок для ЗСУ, під час якого зібрали 650000$.

Тож чекаємо всіх на нашому благодійному творчому вечорі, який принесе не лише задоволення від спілкування й музики, а й конкретну користь у вигляді підтримки Сил оборони України».

Charity event with the band in Cardiff - 2nd June 2024

As part of the "Culture vs War" project, the ANTYTILA band, together with the Ukrainian community in Great Britain - "Cardiff for Ukraine" and “Support Ukraine”, on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the Association "Watch Ukrainian", supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, will hold the first series of events in three cities in the UK.

During the events, we will show the movie "Culture vs War" followed by an open conversation with the ANTYTILA band in a Q&A format. They will cover topics like the heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people against Russian occupiers, charitable projects, musical activities, and military service of the ANTYTILA band, as well as other topics interesting for the guests.

On the agenda additionally:

● an auction with unique lots;

● an acoustic performance by the ANTYTILA band with songs having become part of the Ukrainians’ lives all around the world.

Everyone attending the charity event will have an opportunity to ask questions personally addressed to the band members, purchase lots at the auction, including flags signed by Valerii Zaluzhnyi and Kyrylo Budanov as well as trophies and personal items of the musicians having gone through combat actions in Kyiv and Kharkiv regions, where Taras Topolia, Serhii Vusyk, and Dmytro Zholud took part as volunteer soldiers of the 130th Battalion of Territorial Defence; you’ll also be able to sing along famous songs like TDME, Seize the Moment, You to Believe, Fortress Bakhmut, and others.

About the Project

The project “Culture vs War” was initiated by the Association “Watch Ukrainian!” in April 2022 to record the truth about the Russia’s war on Ukraine via stories of struggle of well-known by artists. IIn the war against Russia, Ukraine and Ukrainians, through tireless resistance and incredible national heroism, have transformed into a nation of victors, into the Land of Heroes. Overcoming war challenges with dignity, Ukrainians have moved to a new level of self-awareness, self-identification, sovereignty, and international subjectivity. The characters involved in the projects are well-known artists having joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and cultural figures leading active volunteering lives.. The project's outcome is the creation of a set of media products in cooperation with Ukrainian cultural figures making the world aware of the values and the importance of Ukrainian culture, helping Ukrainians resist the aggressor, based on their personal stories.

"When ANTYTILA were withdrawn from the frontline, we were set a clear objective - to tell the truth about the war to the world by any means possible, to gather resources to meet the needs of the Defence Forces, and to also to draw attention to the struggle of the Ukrainian people against occupants via music and interviews. That’s what we’ve been doing for over a year. Since the moment we stopped being directly involved in military operations, due to the support of thousands of Ukrainians and foreigners throughout the world, we have fundraised over $2,000,000 for various needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We have just completed a large-scale project to provide 10,000 high-quality medikits for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the course of which we fundraised $650,000.

We look forward to welcoming everyone at our charitable evening, which will bring not only the pleasure of communication and music but also a particular benefit as support for the Defence Forces of Ukraine."
