There are 2 separate age ranges ... Speed Dates will occur within your age range but you will also have a chance to mix and mingle with everyone at the event.
$40 Early Bird tickets - ends Friday November 1st - (via e-transfer - Eventbrite is just for registering / securing spot).
Matchmaking Members have a different rate.
Once the early bird timeframe ends price goes to $45.
This includes a free drink, some prizes, and a chance to meet and have 8 minute speed dates with 10 other single Christians of the opposite sex (40 total spots).

PRICE?
For your ticket price you will get a chance to meet and mingle with upwards of 40 fellow Christians (10 Speed Dates with members of the opposite sex in your age range), receive a complimentary drink, a chance to win various prizes, a fun / quaint location (they have a full kitchen as well), and to maybe even meet the one.
At our 2023 spring event (we've focused on Matchmaking since then) we had almost 100 people and some great connections were made.
We also had another event in Burlington in May with 80 single Christians and another great night / connections.
And another in July and October with around 80 single Christians at the same venue, etc. Another two great events. (some pictures at the bottom) ... (and another successful speed dating even with 21 men and 21 women in Waterloo recently).
Also prior to the pandemic - at our speed dating event - with only 15 men and 15 women - one couple actually got married ;) - because they met at our event and quickly fell in love thereafter.

The price of an average date is $100, so this is quite the deal, seeing as it costs us money to rent the space, provide a drink, prizes (various), our invested time, etc.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
This is a speed dating event (and mini mixer) for single Christians:
2 Groups:
Ages 27-38
And 39-50
Where there can be some exceptions to this age as well - reach out.
Where everyone at the event will have a chance to meet each other and interact, etc. but in terms of the speed dates - these will occur just between the age group you signed up with - so 10 dates - and these will be 8 minutes each.
Will see what the main ages are response wise and will adjust things accordingly / keep everyone updated, etc.
I am hoping to repeat this process in Toronto and London as well ... based on how this one goes. So a lot of support is greatly appreciated. Get the word out / bring a buddy, etc.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AT THE EVENT?

This is an awesome Pub / Restaurant in Ancaster with their own party room which is upstairs on the second floor - up the stairs right after enterting.
The offical event will run from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
You will be greeted by your Host, Josh, where he will check off that you have arrived, provide you with your complimentary drink, a chance to start mingling, etc.
Once a majority of people have arrived our host will explain how the evening will run.
Starting off with a light fun game that will get everyone interacting and to award the first prize of the night.
From here Josh will be mingling with the crowd and making sure everyone is having a good time. You will have a chance to meet all kinds of new people, chat, flirt, have a drink or two, a few fun games, maybe even win a prize, or even meet the one?, etc. Their kitchen will also be open in case you want to order some food at any point.
It's recommended you eat beforehand as we will be quite busy but they do have great food that could order at the end or order something to go, etc.
WHERE the main portion of the night will be dedicated to SPEED DATING - so that you can get to know 10 members of the opposite sex in your age range during around 8 minute mini dates ... But also by the end you will get a chance to interact with everyone there - the other age group, etc. - some mingling and fun games, etc.
During these dates the person sitting across from you might not be the one but they may know someone who would make a good match for you / might be a good business contact, etc.
This will involve a first round of speed dating (5 x 8 minute dates) then a break - then a second round of speed dating (5 x 8 minute dates).
WHAT TO WEAR?
We want you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.
What would you wear on a chilled out Saturday evening first date? Big first impression opportunity...so let's look snazzy.
Your host Josh will be wearing dress pants, a dress shirt and potentially a tie or jacket, but he's the host.
So, wear whatever you feel comfortable and confident in.
LOCATION? / WHERE CAN I PARK? / HOW TO FIND IT? ...
The Coach and Lantern is off Wilson street in Ancaster (West - greater Hamilton) ... There is an open gate to a patio underneath their sign (picture below) ... walk through there and you will find the pub entrance on the right. From here head up the stairs to the upper private party room.
Parking wise (another picture below) ... there is a main lot right across the street (marked with a 1 on the image), there is also parking at the Ancaster Theatre across the street (Wilson - marked with a 2 on the image), there is also parking in various other parking lots nearby for businesses that would be shut down on a Saturday night, etc. and on certain side streets. There is also some parking near the tennis club / the Public Library if all other spots close by are full or say no parking.
