If you struggle to find a connection between the ancient roots of Christianity and the modern church experience, you're in for a treat! "Christ in the Passover," presented by Jews for Jesus Executive Director and CEO Aaron Abramson, demonstrates the link between the Jewish feast of Passover and the last supper Jesus shared with His disciples – the same traditions we celebrate in modern communion.
Abramson explains the beautiful symbolism of the Jewish ceremony called a seder. He'll weave the story of the exodus and freedom from slavery together with the messianic hope realized in Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. The words “do this in remembrance of me” will take on an even deeper meaning to Christians as we learn the significance of the tradition Jesus observed the night before He died and give us a closer look at the very Jewish life He led.
This presentation takes place during our Sunday morning services (choose from 9 or 10:30 a.m. We'll begin with our usual contemporary worship music, followed by this presentation. Childcare is available for kids of all ages, but older kids may be interested in attending this special service with you!
Even if you already have a church home, join us for this special Sunday as we approach the Easter season!
