"Brushstrokes and Balance" Women's Art & Wellness Retreat ~Autumn Edition~

A soulful day designed to reconnect you with yourself — and the women who inspire you most.

Nestled within the charm of the historic Elmdale Inn, Brushstrokes & Balance is a one-day art and wellness retreat crafted for women who crave a pause — a chance to breathe, create, and simply be.

Your experience begins with the Welcome Hour featuring a light breakfast of pastries, fruit, and freshly brewed coffee or tea as you settle into the serene beauty of your surroundings.

You will be invited into the “Moments of Me” art workshop — a mindful creative experience where you’ll design and decoupage your own handcrafted affirmations box using original decoupage papers, fabric, and embellishments. You will also be given slips of paper with affirmation prompts as well as a mini-pen to fill your box with handwritten notes of self-love and encouragement. This custom keepsake becomes a beautiful reminder of who you are becoming — and the peace you’ll take home with you. The session will be led by your retreat host Virginia owner of Thirteen Design.

The art session will immediately be followed by a gourmet hard cider and food pairing lunch led by Freas Farm Winery's wine and cider maker, Stephanie. This pairing is exclusie to our retreat and designed to be a sensory experience that feels as indulgent as it is meaningful.

In the afternoon, you’ll be guided through a restorative wellness session where you'll explore some of the most nourishing ways to reconnect with yourself. We will focus on your sense of ease and peace, joy and contedness, sense of unshakable groundedness, and utter unable-to-be-messed-with-ness (yeah, not a word but a relatable feeling nonetheless). This experience has been designed exclusively for ourretreat by Tawnia from A Soulful Space.

We will also be giving away several wonderful Door Prizes throughout the day!

Every detail of Brushstrokes & Balance has been thoughtfully designed to help you exhale, reconnect, and return to yourself through creativity, connection, and calm.

Limited to just 20 attendees to preserve the desired intimate and personal atmosphere.

Bring your sister, your best friend, or your favorite women and make it a weekend to remember — overnight accommodations are available directly through The Elmdale Inn for those who wish to extend their experience into a girls’ weekend getaway.

~This event is perfect for Adults 18+. (Must be 21 to consume alcohol in PA.)

~Wear Comfortable Clothing.

~Bring a yoga mat, towel, or blanket. (IF weather is nice we may go outside for the wellness session.) If you are unable to sit on the ground, we will have chairs available as well.
