Join our volunteers alongside our leather studded Park Ranger, Jude (co-founder of Queer Mountaineers) - for a laid-back evening of bears, brews, a meet & greet bear themed bingo, and banter at Diesel! Whether you're into the kind of bears you find in the mountains or the kind you meet at the bar (or both!), this event is all about building community and sharing knowledge.
We’ll be hanging out, meeting new faces, and chatting about bear safety in the outdoors—because knowing your grizzlies from your black bears is just as important as knowing your cubs from your otters. 🐾
This is also a chance to learn more about Queer Mountaineers and how we’re creating space for 2SLGBTQIA+ adventurers in the outdoors. Bring your best bear puns, your curiosity, and your appetite for adventure (and maybe snacks).

Who: Bears, outdoor lovers, and allies alike!
What: Socializing, learning, and paw-sitive vibes.
When: 2/13 at 7PM.
Where: Diesel, Seattle’s iconic bear bar.
Please note: the bar features adult-themed decor, including nude images on the walls and screens, which reflects the inclusive and sex-positive culture of the space.
We promise it’ll be a grizzly good time, and no one will be left grizzly. 🐻🌈
