Koren American chef, author, teacher, and artist Caroline Choe will be joining us at Symposium Books on Sunday, November 17th @ noon. Among many successful projects, Caroline is the author of "Banchan: 60 Korean American Recipes for Delicious, Shareable Sides".
Come get some inspiration on some yummy side dishes as Caroline is joined in culinary conversation by Claudine Pepin, local chef and founder of the Jacques Pepin Foundation- a foundation that supports free training for up-and-coming chefs.
The definition of Banchan is classified as a Korean side dish served with rice, but there is a huge amount of variety within. Join us to see what you can create from what's already in your own kitchen!
Copies of "Banchan" will be available for purchase and to be signed by Caroline, as well as a Q&A following their discussion. See you there!
