Come Join Aimee DeGroff, Waldo Aldecoa and myself to explore why you're missing improv moments and why you feel stuck dancing the same patterns and styling. We will be taking 2 hours to Explore what is keeping you stuck to patterns, basic timing and how to teach yourself to open up to "And Yes" moments. This will also include how to encourage "And Yes" points for both Followers and Leaders without forcing a movement that could break the dance.

($5) 10AM-11AM: Optional connection feedback and Calibration Drills Solo, with a Partner, and with TA's/Instructor
($10) 11AM-1PM: Finding your "And" moments and using them for your dance.
This is a Drilling/Practice Style Workshop. The majority of the class will NOT be spent just trying to execute to music. The Majority of class will be spent in partner practice Drills, exercises and feedback to each individual Dancer.
You do not need a partner to sign up, Rotation and Class material will be paced for everyone to have time with a partner to work on the material being presented.
This Workshop is for dancers who are comfortable with their basics to slow, medium or fast tempos, but find themselves repeating the same patterns when they dance.
