Det gjorde hun i sin rapport ”Anatomy of a Genocide”.
Turnéen vil indeholde to foredrag (Kbh.

The question of what to call Israel's military action in Gaza since 8.10.2023 has been controversial. Some have called it a war against Hamas. Some have called it a war against Gaza. But many experts, including Jewish experts, have either warned or said that it is in fact already the worst crime against humanity that exists – Genocide. One of the experts who wrote as early as March that the threshold for establishing genocide had been reached was Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories. She did so in her report "Anatomy of a Genocide". In her latest report from October, "Genocide as colonial erasure," she extends this view to include Palestine as a whole.
Here in Denmark, politicians have mostly been reluctant, and have even refused to acknowledge even a risk of genocide, even though the International Court of Justice (ICJ) has pointed out that such a risk exists. The Danish politicians will not take it too seriously until a final ruling is issued by the ICJ. But it could take several years – which is why the court has already acted with temporary orders.
Is there anything we in Denmark have misunderstood? Do we actually live up to our legal, and not least moral, obligation in relation to. The Genocide Convention? Albanese will talk about these topics in different contexts.
The tour will include two lectures (University of Copenhagen 6.2, Aarhus University 7.2), meetings with politicians at parliament (5.2), meetings with NGOs such as Amnesty, ActionAid, Oxfam, etc. The moderators at the lectures are Dina Hashem and Annette Stubkjær in respectively Copenhagen and Aarhus, both from Amnesty.
