"Against All Odds" is the true story of Charity Resian, who grew up in a village of Masai Mara in Kenya, where female genital mutilation is considered a very important tradition. Resian is an anti-FGM activist and a FGM policy and advocacy specialist. Joining Resian on the panel after the film will be De Scott and Shane Desgrosellier to discuss the progress of Resian's non-profit mission to leverage education to empower girls, end harmful practices including FGM, child marriages, and transform communities in rural Kenya.
