It is always great to begin our season with a family concert and this year we explore the theme of “Adventures and Heroes” featuring popular favorites William Tell Overture and Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony. Students from the Highline School District and Key to Change will also be joining in with the NWSO with two pieces about Adventure, and we feature Key to Change student Avi Spillers as soloist. For this concert at the Highline Performing Arts Center, Students age 18/under get in Free at the door. Our season again includes other wonderful partnerships with organizations such as Encanto Arts (February concert), and we once again conclude our season with Washington Trails Association (April concert)- featuring music and stunning photos from our state- provided by WTA’s Northwest Exposure Contest.
