Children ages 7 through 12 can enjoy these introductory art programs held in partnership with the Somers Point Police Athletics League. Limited seats are available, registration is required! The fee is $20.00 for the series, payment can be made by Venmo @somerspointpal1, please write child's last name and art in the comment section on venmo, or by check made out to Somers Point PAL.
A guardian must be present with each participating child during the entirety of the program. Wear your paint clothes!
Class schedule:
October 12: Create your own self-portrait with collage techniques and materials.
October 19: Use observational drawing skills to capture a still-life scene in oil pastels.
October 26: Express your creativity with this marble painting technique!
November 2: Capture the beauty of nature with impressionistic art techniques.
November 9: Children will explore their creativity in a “Quilt Collage” activity.
