Penn High School Theatre presents their fall play production, "A Seussified Christmas Carol," by Peter Bloedel. As the narrators tell us right away, don't be confused; this is Charles Dickens, and *definitely* not Dr. Seuss. Sure, the lines all rhyme, and, alright, there might be some silly characters, places, and phrases, and, fine, Little Timmy Loo Hoo might be waiting for some Zoot Fruit Juice with his Cratchit family. But, otherwise, not Seuss-y at all!
Join familiar characters like (The) Scrooge, (Bed-Headed) Fred, and The Ghost of (A) Christmas Present as we learn how important it is to care about those beyond ourselves, especially in the holiday season.
All audience are encouraged to dress up as Seuss-like and/or holiday-themed as they'd like to join in on the fun!
Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults, and will be available both online at HomeTown Ticketing (beginning on October 31) or at the door. The show will be performed in Penn High School's Studio Theater inside door C. Show dates are Thursday, November 13 at 7:00, Friday, November 14 at 7:00, and Saturday, November 15 at 3:00.
