Join Us for "A Service of Three Basins" – Holy Thursday CommunionAs we journey toward Holy Week, I invite you to a special Holy Thursday Communion Service: A Service of Three Basins on Thursday, April 17, at 7:00 PM in the church sanctuary. This unique hand-washing service is meant to help prepare our hearts for Good Friday and Easter as we reflect on Jesus’ final moments with his disciples.
The three basins symbolize the acts of service, sacrifice, and love demonstrated by Jesus:
The Basin of Betrayal – Representing Pilate’s washing of hands, a reminder of the human tendency to turn away from truth and our own struggles with faith and surrender.
The Basin of Redemption – A powerful reminder of Christ’s sacrifice and the grace poured out for us. This station invites us to remember our baptism and God’s redemptive work in our lives.
The Basin of Servanthood – Remembering how Jesus humbly washed His disciples’ feet, teaching us to serve one another in love. This station invites us to reflect on Christ’s call to selfless
service.
At each station, participants will have the opportunity to wash their hands as a symbolic act of reflection and renewal. After visiting all three stations, participants will be invited to receive Holy Communion, experiencing the fullness of Christ’s love and grace as we prepare our hearts for the solemnity of Good Friday and the joy of Easter.
Come and experience the power of this sacred night as we walk with Jesus to the cross. All are welcome
