California Melody Boys and The Lighthouse Boys will appear in Visalia, CA as part of their first ever "A Night Out With THe Boys" Concerts.Founded in 2002, The California Melody Boys is a trio of Gospel music veterans, Dave Crandall, Craig Smith and Jon Lincicum. The California Melody Boys are committed to presenting the message of Jesus Christ through music and testimony in churches of all denominations and concert venues. They are known for their diversity and excellence in musical styles, with close harmonies that appeal to a wide range of audiences and age groups. The ultimate goal of CMB is not only to be pleasing to the ear, but to use music, the language of the soul, to create an atmosphere of worship and present a message of hope and salvation through Christ.
The Lighthouse Boys started in 1974. They have been called Progenitors of the Bakersfield Sound. They made their local TV debut on the 1975 "March of Dimes" Broadcast. The Lighthouse Boys received the 2016 "Gospel" Award by The Bakersfield Country Music Awards as a "Life time Achievement Presentation". They are known for their Radio Singles and Fan Favorites "Midnight Cry", "From Heaven's Point of View", "When The Saints of God Are Called T'ward Heaven" and their newest single "He'll Carry You".
