About this Event
Sunday, March 2, 2025 marks the 97th Academy Awards ceremony in Hollywood and the 18th year for the FSU College of Motion Picture Arts Fundraiser – “A Night at the Oscars”.
A tradition since 2008, FSUFILM offers a night of entertainment, surprises while recognizing the art and craft of filmmaking. Wave at our eager paparazzi as you walk the red carpet in your Hollwyood chic and have the opportunity to be interviewed live by our own awards night correspondents.
All proceeds raised from this event go directly to the support of our students and programs.
Your generous contributions help support one of the most highly regarded film schools in the U.S., while you spend the evening cheering for your favorite nominees, meet our talented student filmmakers who might be the future Oscar nominees and winners joining our alumni luminaries like Barry Jenkins & Adele Romaski (Moonlight), Allison Rose Carter (Everything, Everywhere, All at Once), Jonathan King (Roma, Green Book), Stephen Broussard (Dr. Strange), Oualid Mounaess (1982), to name a few.
Guests enjoy delicious catered appetizers, a full bar, and the opportunity to bid on a touch of Hollywood with our much anticipated silent auction filled with movie memorabilia.
“The Main Stage” offers reserved seating in an elegant dinner table setting, reminiscent of the first award ceremonies in the historic Roosevelt Hotel ballroom. “The Stage B Lounge” offers a low key, unreserved seat setting to hang out while grabbing your glamorous selfie in front of our step & repeat. The Academy Awards ceremony will be projected in all areas.
ONLINE TICKETS SALES END WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 26 @ 5:00PM.
Non-reserved general seating will be on sale at the door with credit or debit cards only.
