Pop Up People & Bueno Records present "A Little Prince" aka Prince In The Park, Sunday June 11th, from 12-4pm in Elysian Park!
Please join us for a family friendly celebration of the music of Prince. All the hits, b-sides, album cuts & alter egos, side projects, from the Time to Sheila E, Vanity To Apollonia, The Family to Minneapolis funk and more.
Yes, it's his birthday so we're putting on a little Prince – come purify yourself in the forests of Elysian Park!
Bring your kids, family, friends, dogs, blankets, lunch, snacks, refreshments, tarot cards, frisbees, hacky sacks - whatever you want - for a proper Sunday afternoon chill out. Yes, it's Prince's birthday so we're having a picnic about it!
We'll have a little PA set up to play the jams, plus the summer will be in full swing in LA, so come hang with your gang. Find us at the corner of Stadium Way and Academy Road, with lots of adjacent parking, bathrooms and a playground. There's no charge, it's easily accessible and just for fun.
"A Little Prince" is a free, family & pet friendly, neighborhood event, and all are welcome. It is a transaction-less space, for the enjoyment of music in nature, which as everyone knows is the best. Thank you.
