Musick's Company is thrilled to present a very special program of Christmas music from Appalachia and the American South -- "old music OF the New World". The concert will feature several solos from Kentuckian minstrel and musicologist John Jacob Niles, a larger set of Southern Harmony pieces, Christmas folk tunes, early American composers and a few Shaker tunes. Featured instruments will include fiddle, guitar, viol, dulcimer, recorder and organ. This concert coincides with the ongoing celebration of Lexington's 250th anniversary, and we're proud to honor Kentucky's musical heritage. We hope to see you there!
