Il duo formato dal violinista CARLO DUMONT e dal chitarrista PAOLO LAMBIASE attivo da più di 30 anni presenta un brillante omaggio al grande virtuoso genovese Niccolò Paganini che spesso dimorò e suonò a Napoli e che ci ha lasciato un cospicuo repertorio per i due strumenti a corda da lui prediletti. Dalla celebre raccolta del “Centone di sonate” all’Op.2 e Op.3 dalle sonate per chitarra sola ai capricci il programma accosta pagine celebri e brani meno noti che ben raccontano il virtuosismo e la straordinaria cantabilità del primo romanticismo italiano.
The duo formed by the violinist CARLO DUMONT and the guitarist PAOLO LAMBIASE, active for more than 30 years, presents a brilliant tribute to the great Genoese virtuoso Niccolò Paganini, who often lived and played in Naples, and who left a conspicuous repertoire for the two string instruments he favored. From the famous collection of the “Centone di sonate” to the Op.2 and Op.3, from the sonatas for solo guitar, to the capricci, the program combines famous pages and lesser-known pieces, which well tell the virtuosity and the extraordinary cantability of the first Italian Romanticism.
