Why does the Anderson County Democratic Party hold a Reorganization Convention? Every two years, local Democratic parties across Tennessee hold a Reorganization Convention to elect new leadership and set the direction for the next election cycle. This is how we keep our party strong, build our local presence, and ensure that Anderson County Democrats have a voice in shaping our community’s future.What happens at a Reorganization Convention? At this event, every Democrat in Anderson County has the opportunity to participate in electing our party’s leadership for the 2025-2026 term. We will elect a: - Chair - Vice Chair - Treasurer - Secretary -Two District Chairs from each of Anderson County’s 8 County Commission Districts
These leaders will guide the party’s strategy, recruit and support candidates, mobilize volunteers, and work to strengthen the Democratic presence in Anderson County.
Who can participate? Every Democrat in Anderson County is welcome to attend, vote, and even run for a leadership position. If you want to get involved, this is your chance!
