Shamanism is one of the oldest spiritual traditions, found in indigenous cultures across the world. At its essence, it teaches a way of living in deep reciprocity with all that surrounds us. It is the remembrance that we are not separate—we are the earth, the animals, the trees, the rocks, the waters, the stars, the sun, and the moon. We are the rhythm of music, the movement of the wind, vibrational beings woven into everything around us.To walk the shamanic path is to honor all of life—what brings us joy, what awakens our fears and desires, even what stirs our grief. In this honoring, we also honor ourselves. We begin to return to the self we carried at birth—before language, before conditioning—when we could see spirits, speak with animals, and knew we belonged to the universe. Shamanism calls us to strip away societal patterns and rediscover this true self.
