And it has pockets! - An "Add a Pocket" sewing workshop

Have you noticed that many times, that favorite dress just would be perfect if only it had pockets? Or how those trousers seem to have pockets only suitable for fingertips, not hands? This is an opportunity to learn how to add pockets of various styles to your existing clothing or to clothes you are making.
Participants in this workshop will learn how to create pockets, make samples to take home, and then, at the end of the day, choose one type to add to an existing garment they will bring with them. It is suggested that participants bring at least two garments with them so they can select the best one to do this with.
~~~Some sewing machine skills are essential~~~
Fabric to make the samples with and patterns for pockets will be provided where they are required. As will sewing machines and basic equipment. A range of fabric will be supplied with which pockets can be made but participants may also wish to bring fabric with them.
