This retreat is inspired by our ancient ways of living freely, and incorporates elements of simplicity, nature, spirituality, and most importantly- community.We all belong to an ancient community of witches, medicine women and healers. This retreat offers you an opportunity to remember your natural lineage and power, in bringing forward these ancient practices into the present. Together we can celebrate what was, whilst helping to create and weave these skills into our future.
The retreat will be held at the Sill Landscape Discovery Centre, half way between Newcastle and Hexham. This site is steeped in history and provides a perfect backdrop for us to connect with our ancestral ways.
Making use of the beautiful landscape surrounding us, as well as the Sill centre, grounds and bell tent with stove, we will spend the weekend immersed in nature. We will enjoy walking, crafting, working with herbs, using our voices in mantra, relaxing in group meditation and journeying, dancing, and writing - all within the peace and healing of ceremony.
The retreat begins with breakfast at 8am on Saturday 9th November and finishes at lunchtime on Sunday 10th November. The cost for the weekend is £200.
This includes your night’s accommodation in the Sill YHA and a cooked breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning. Other snacks and meals can be chosen from the Sill cafe and YHA restaurant and paid for directly. All activities are included in the price. A non refundable deposit of £100 secures your place. By combining elements of ancient wisdom with modern holistic practices, this retreat aims to provide you with an enriching experience that reconnects you back to you, and also back your ancient roots.
