About this Event
Have you ever wanted to go birding back through time? LABC is teaming up with museum educator Becca Prater for a morning of bird watching and exploring the La Brea Tar Pits! We'll go on a walk around Hancock Park to look for birds, and compare them to the fossil record to see if they're new in town or have been here since the Ice Age. There will be a free raffle at the event for the chance to win stickers and other prizes!
Following the walk there will be a tour of La Brea's avian fossil exhibits inside the museum with Becca Prater. Tickets for inside the museum are first come, first serve, and limited to one per person. Please check if you qualify for free admission in the ticketing section before reserving a spot!
Free parking is available along 6th street, or $20 at La Brea Tar Pits museum parking lot
