What is Anchored?
Our conference theme this year is “Anchored in Prayer." Prayer is a topic that Christians know is important, yet oftentimes it is a neglected discipline. During this conference, we want to challenge ourselves to think on the commands God gives us to pray, His promises to hear our prayers, and the criticality of prayer to our daily communion with Him! In addition to eight 25-minute teaching times, we will have time for singing and fellowship. Pastor Myral Watson, Pastor Aaron Johnson, Dr. Rhenn Cherry, and Ben Heimann, MRBC elder, will lead our teaching times.
When is Anchored?
The 9th Anchored Conference will take place on September 20th. The conference will be structured around teaching from Mission Road Bible Church Pastors and Elders. The conference will feature teaching, singing, lunch, and concentrated fellowship opportunities. In addition to the main event Saturday, there will be optional social events Friday night and Saturday after the conference

Join Us for the Whole Weekend!
All conference attendees are invited to activities planned and hosted by Thrive, the Mission Road Bible Church career singles ministry. Activities will occur on Friday night, Saturday night after the conference, and Sunday after morning services.
Friday Night Meet & Greet
Please join us for a night of fellowship with other like-minded individuals from 7-9:30pm. Light snacks will be provided. Event location will be provided to registered guests.
Saturday Night Dinner & Hangout
After the final session, attendees are invited to an optional happy at Strang Hall (7313 W 80th St, Overland Park, KS 66204) to enjoy continued fellowship with attendees. Dinner is not included in the cost of the conference.
Sunday Services at Mission Road Bible Church
If you stay all weekend, join us for church on Sunday! Mission Road Bible Church has two services: 8:30 am and 10:30 am.
