About this Event
AHS is an educational nonprofit dedicated to examining health and disease from an evolutionary perspective. Our annual symposium provides a forum for clinicians, researchers, health entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts to share ideas and learn from each other.
While the future remains uncertain with the evolving COVID-19 situation, we are optimistic that we will be able to gather together safely in the summer with appropriate precautions, as they may be determined by the public health authorities and UCLA. As usual, tickets will not be refundable on an individual basis. But we are committed to a safe, in person symposium, and if circumstances do not permit us to gather safely, we will cancel the symposium and refund all ticket sales in full.
TICKET PRICES
General registration for all three days is $349, and $219 for students. Early bird tickets are $299 ($179 for students) until May 31, 2022.
Students – Proof of student status will be required at registration area.
LOCATION
AHS22 will be held at the Northwest Auditorium at the University of California, Los Angeles.
WELCOME DINNER
There will be a welcome dinner on Thursday night, available for purchase for $60.
ACCOMMODATIONS
We have three-night room packages (plus an optional fourth night) available in two locations.
Rooms are available at Luskin Conference Center for $259/night, and guests can choose 1 King Bed or 2 Queens.
We also have rooms available in the dorms for $140/night. These are private rooms with AC, a private bathroom, and two twin beds. Dorm rooms are near the auditorium.
CONFERENCE CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
We understand that there will be many questions about what would happen in the event that the conference cannot proceed. If we have to cancel for any reason, we do not have plans to hold a completely virtual conference.
The Ancestral Health Society reserves the right to make changes to the program and, if necessary, cancel the conference at its sole discretion. In the event of a cancellation, the Ancestral Health Society will refund the full value paid to us for registration and/or accommodation at UCLA. The Ancestral Health Society will not be liable for any direct or indirect losses arising as a result of conference cancellation and will not, for example, be responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred. In the event of cancellation, the Ancestral Health Society will publicize the cancellation and details will be posted on the websites associated with the conference. Attendees are responsible for checking this information prior to the event.
As in past years, tickets are otherwise non-refundable but can be transferred to another individual if required.
