In the Northern tradition, we have elevated ancestors known as the Dísir and the Álfar. These are ancestors who have taken on special roles in the afterlife. Some of them you may know, others may come from deep within your ancestral line. They help with finding joy and luck, bringing prosperity and abundance, addressing health issues in the bloodline, and more. In this workshop, we will learn about:
-The roles of the Dísir and the Álfar
-How to connect with them
-Why it’s important to connect with them in these times
-How we can work with them to assist in breaking cycles
We will also learn about three Elder Futhark Runes (characters in the old Germanic alphabet that influenced our own) and how to use them to deepen our meditative and intuitive practices. We will then complete a guided journey to connect with the Dísir and the Álfar to see what they would like to share with us at this time.
Please bring with you a journal and a pen. You do not have to have Scandinavian or Germanic heritage in order to participate.
