About this Event
You may have heard people say that around this time of year, “the veil is thin.” It’s a moment that invites reflection and connection with those we’ve lost.
In this 90-minute session, we’ll use drawing, gentle breathwork, somatic movement, and a sound bath with crystal quartz singing bowls to slow down, reconnect, and honor our loved ones in a meaningful way. It will invite deep rest, and gentle movement to regulate your nervous system functioning, as well as intention setting to connecting with ancestors, or someone you've lost.
What to bring: Please bring a mat, blankets, pillows, and journal. The more cozy you can get, the better. Bring an object that feels connected to your ancestors, or someone you'd like to connect with.
Parking is free and easily accessible right in front of the building. If there is no more parking available in our parking lot, you may park next door (if facing the building, to the right) at the white building since they are not open and happy to share their parking.
What to expect: Doors open at 2:30. I recommend you come early to make sure you get a spot and use the restroom before we get started at 3pm. As you make your way inside, you'll come straight to the back of the building into a big open room where you'll see my healing instruments set up. You can find a spot to setup anywhere in the room that feels fitting for you with your mat, blankets, and pillows.

**Chelsea Szegidewicz, ASMP**
Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, Chelsea Szegidewicz is an Associate Somatic Movement Professional credentialed through ISMETA (International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association, with a deep foundation in music, sound therapy, and somatic movement.
A graduate of the Atlanta Institute of Music with a focus in Guitar Performance, Chelsea has worked as a recording artist and performer in Atlanta since 2013. In 2020, she expanded her practice into sound therapy, earning a 200-hour Sound Practitioner Certification from Sound Embrace Institute, where she studied the science and history of sound healing.
Her therapeutic work led to a collaboration with dance/movement therapist Dee Wagner and three years of training in *Chi for Two®*, an embodiment method focused on nervous system regulation and relational awareness. This training provides a trauma-informed, attachment-based, and polyvagal-informed framework that deepens her somatic practice. Chelsea’s approach integrates principles from dance/movement therapy, kinesthetic empathy, and the Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor (PBSP), with a focus on healing within relationships where power dynamics are present—such as therapist/client, teacher/student, or parent/child.
Chelsea views her instruments and sound baths as extensions of her healing journey. Through music and movement, she helps others reconnect with their innate creativity, sense of play, and inner nature.
