Gogo Indawo yamaThuna Mathambo is an initiated Sangoma traditional healer in the ubuNgoma tradition of South Africa.
In divination Sangomas use bones, teeth, vertebrae, shells, and other objects as a means of confirmation of information from their ancestral spirits. The bones are tossed or poured onto a mat in front of the client, then read based on the groups and positions in which they fall. This becomes a conversation between the client’s spirits and the spirits of the Sangoma, meant to shed light, guiding the client and their ancestors toward a state of wholeness and healing.
As a Sangoma, and The Keeper of the Bones, Gogo Indawo helps you dive deep within to address the core issues affecting your life. We are each the result of our ancestors' prayers and dreams. We carry their victories and gifts as well as their experiences, beliefs, and traumas within our physical and spiritual being.
