What a magical day at Craftapalooza 2024!
The joy was everywhere this Saturday as children gathered in Santa's workshop, creating holiday crafts and meeting the man himself. Our famous United Methodist Women's Peanut Brittle proved as popular as ever, selling out in record time!
The marketplace buzzed with excitement as visitors explored unique treasures from our incredible 20+ vendors, many of whom have been part of our Craftapalooza family for nearly 15 years. Brigitte's crafting workshop with Gallery on the Go captured everyone's creativity, while Delish Dogs kept spirits high with their mouthwatering hot dogs, sausages, and nachos.
None of this would have been possible without our amazing community. From our dedicated volunteers who moved pews and chairs, to our talented bakers, and everyone who shared their warm smiles and hospitality – you made this event truly special.
A heartfelt thank you to all who came out to support our local artists, non-profits, and families. Your presence and support mean the world to us and help make Craftapalooza a cherished community tradition. 🎄✨

"An Unlikely Advent" by Rachel Billups: A Four Week Bible Study with Pastor Jen STARTING THIS SUNDAY
Sundays after Worship (11:15), 12/01-12/22
We all know how Mary fits into the Christmas Story... and Joseph... and the angels... and of course Jesus. But how well do you know the details about the "background characters"? Elizabeth and Zechariah?
What about the Magi and the Shepherds? What about... Herod?? As Rachel Billups says, "These B-Players usually emerge as 'extras' in God's story, but I could not help but wonder if they might have more to teach us about the intersection of God's story with ours."
This four-week Advent study focuses on the experiences of four sets of often overlooked characters in the Nativity story. During this Advent season, Rachel Billups guides readers through the themes of hope, love, joy, and peace by sharing the stories of Elizabeth and Zechariah, Herod, the Magi, and the shepherds. Each set of unexpected characters has something to teach about living faithfully on the journey to Christmas.
We hope you will join us on Sundays after worship (about 11:15) for lively discussion! Please contact Pastor Jen with questions or to reserve your book at: [email protected]
Cost is $10 each and Pastor Jen will have them this Sunday in church.
We hope to see you there! Invite a friend!
