An Osteopathic Approach in Obstetrics, Gynecology, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Urology and Geriatrics. Hours: Fri 12-7, Sat 9-5, Sun 9-5 (23 hours total)
In this course students can expand their knowledge on pathology and how to approach a treatment for a client who has been clinically diagnosed with a condition. Special attention will be given to assessment and treatment of pregnant women. Students will also learn how to better recognize many subtle risk factors and contraindications to treatment and when to refer to a medical professional.
