About this Event
In collaboration with Black Cinema Club HTX, we sit down with Houston-grown creatives Nate Edwards, Isaac Yowman, and Kwasi to discuss turning a creative vision into a fully realized motion picture. The conversation also examines the power of Black storytelling and the importance of cultivating strong creative communities from within, allowing that strength to shine outward into the world.
About "Sincerely Brad"
Amidst a tense political climate in an aerospace city, a biracial couple finds their love tested by outside perceptions. As they navigate cultural tensions, Zoey faces the challenges of pregnancy while her fiancé is torn between his humanity, identity, and a dangerous NASA mission that could change the world. With the promise of a safer Earth for their soon-to-be son, he must decide whether to risk leaving his family behind to secure their future.
