An Odyssey of Self-Discovery: A Conversation about August Wilson's Joe Turner's Come & Gone!
Join us on Sat, Oct 12, 2024 at 11:45 AM-1:30 PM for a deep dive into this powerful play at the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company Studio (Downtown, Baltimore). We will explore themes of identity, culture, and history in a casual and engaging setting. This will be an enlightening conversation that will leave you inspired and ready to embark on your own journey of self-discovery. The discussion will feature Dr. Sandra G. Shannon, Founder and President Emerita of the August Wilson Society, and actor Jefferson A. Russell, who is playing the role of Seth in Joe Turner's Come and Gone.
The first ten (10) registrants will receive one (1) free ticket to the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company Studio's 2 p.m. matinee of Joe Turner's Come and Gone on Saturday, October 12.
This a free event; however, you must RSVP! Light refreshments will be served.
