Did you ever dream of becoming an octopus? a fluid, mysterious sea creature, changing colours, extremely playful and intelligent? In this playful fluid movement lab we will use the breath, sound, imagination and basic fluid movement patterns to sense, feel and embody the octopus. Inspired by the fluctuations, undulations, waves & spirals, we will dive into our inner waters, into the depth of our oceanic origins. Who knows, maybe, we come back with new visions and inspirations, closer to being an octopus, closer to feeling the Ocean…---Integrating wave motion, spirals and multidirectionality
---Expanding and interpenetrating our playful creativity
---Finding less separation between body and mind in movement
---Body awareness informed by biomotifs
Lab is facilitated by Tatiana Galibus, a fluid being, a dancer, choreographer, freediver and Continuum somatic movement practitioner based in Brussels. Her artistic project @fluidrootsdance is a continuous inquiry into our ancestry and liquiditude.
