About the workshop:

Whether you write fantasy, historical fiction, sci-fi, or real-world fiction, bad worldbuilding can be the thing that makes your story fall flat. A world both captivating and immersive transports readers to imaginative realms - enhancing their experience. Worldbuilding is an art and to help you master that art this workshop will have you exploring the intricacies of creating intriguing fictional worlds. At this introductory workshop you will learn invaluable tips on what to include when crafting the world your characters inhabit. If you are just starting your writing journey or have already embarked on a literary adventure this workshop provides a solid foundation for creating stories with settings that feel real and complete.

About Trine:

Trine S Larsen is a relative newcomer to the world of writing, in English at least. A native-born Dane, she grew up in the cold north amongst bogs and forests where creatures of all shapes and sizes roam. These old tales lay the foundation for her stories, which she fills with the same sense of wonder she felt hearing the sagas and folklore from her childhood.

In 2018 she was selected for the Peter Cowan Writers Centre, Emerging writers program, which she completed in 2020 with a novel ready for submission.

Cost: $30 members and eligible WUWA members. $42 non members

Refunds:

There are no refunds on PCWC workshops unless the workshop is cancelled due to either COVID-19 lockdowns or for other reasons.
