An Introduction to Signing: For parents and pre-school education staff

A two hour introduction to signing, delivered by East Cheshire NHS Trust paediatric Speech and Language Therapy department. This course is for parents/guardians of children known to the department and directed to attend by their child's Speech and Language Therapist. This course is also for pre-school education staff that are the key workers for the child known to the department.

The SALT department will contact all attendees prior to the course starting to confirm the name of the child they support/are parents for and the name of the educational setting (if appropriate). Those attendees who do not support a child known to our department will not be accepted onto this course.

Please be aware that there is a large demand for this course. Please ensure that you contact the department if you are unable to attend as a waiting list will be held.
