About this Event

An Introduction to Mindfulness and Meditation 4-week course. Each class is one hour, once per week. This course is practical, non-religious and designed for beginners. The course includes

YOUR FACILITATOR IS CLARE GOUGH

Clare was introduced to mindfulness and meditation in 2013 during a period of high stress in her life. Within weeks of committing to a daily practice of stillness, she experienced the physical and mental benefits of this ritual, and is passionate about sharing her experience with others so they can live healthier, more fulfilled lives.

Originally in the banking and finance sector, Clare decided to make a significant career change and follow her passion for health and wellbeing; she currently works for an HR consultancy as a People and Wellbeing Coordinator facilitating wellbeing workshops, helping people to be the best versions of themselves at work. Firmly believing in a holistic approach to health, Clare recently completed a Bachelor of Nutrition Science, is a Mental Health First Aider, and is currently studying a Diploma of Positive Psychology and Wellbeing.

Clare enjoys connecting with people through her warm, relaxed and sincere facilitation style; she is motivated to help others become active participants in shaping their wellbeing through the sharing of mindfulness and meditation education and resources.

Clare has a cheeky 5-year-old daughter and an energetic border collie. She loves walking, yoga and good food, and is in her happy place in her garden.
