-----

Voices of Veterans is a veteran led project that aspires to raise awareness of the mental health crisis affecting Australian veterans and create action to support well being. It seeks to generate meaningful, ongoing positive change in the lives of Australian veterans.

Humanising veteran health by openly sharing personal stories of strength, bravery and hope is at the heart of Voices of Veterans. All participants have been touched by PTSD and all have bravely agreed to share their stories, feelings and experiences to help others.

Voices of Veterans is proudly supported by joint patrons, His Excellency, General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley.

Donations to the Voices of Veterans Fund may now be accepted through our website - a sustainable art fund to support veteran health long term. All donations over $2 through the Voices of Veterans Fund ANVAM donation portal are tax deductible.

Thank you to all Voices of Veterans supporters, partners and patrons.

More about the Voices of Veterans Art Workshops

The Voices of Veterans Art Workshops will support Veterans and First Responders to build a unique art practice that helps to connect with your stories, thoughts, and feelings through creative exploration and expression. Covering a range of artistic techniques as well as fundamental skills for helping you develop as an artist, the workshops are designed to allow the student to build their expertise over time to suit their lifestyle and aspirations. The workshops are all conducted in an intimate group practice facilitated by experienced mentor, veteran, and artist Mike Armstrong (BA, MA CA, MA CYSEC).
