Graphics have become an important part of the trainers and facilitators toolkit. The concept that a picture paints a thousand words is further endorsed by ongoing research into whole brain working and learning.Born out by the latest studies in neuroscience, we now know that visual learning is more efficient for a majority of people, studies show that 65% of the population are visual learners. If our hope for meetings and workshops is for the participants to take in the content of the meeting, digest it, understand it, remember it and action it, then it is counter intuitive to stick to a format of text and bullet points with the occasional image thrown in.
We offer a 1 day course in using graphics to improve your meeting and facilitation skills. This course is suitable for trainers, facilitators, corporate communicators and anyone who presents as part of their role.
No artistic talent is required, in fact many participants have not picked up a marker or pastel in anger since they left school and are looking for a safe environment in which to practice!
This workshop gives participants the confidence to start drawing again and to develop a library of images which can be deployed in their presentations and training.
