About this Event
Using seasonal and locally grown British flowers, you'll be guided through the step-by-step process of creating a hand-tied bouquet by Leanne, the founder of Barb Studio.
During the workshop, we will focus on building key floristry skills to create a natural, garden style hand-tied bouquet. You will learn the basics of preparing and conditioning stems, selecting flowers and identifying complimentary colours and textures as well as exploring the interesting shapes and forms of locally grown blooms.
Throughout the workshop, Leanne will talk about why working with British grown flowers wherever possible is so important. To finish, you'll learn how to wrap your bouquet with sustainable materials, ready to take home.
All tools, flowers and materials will be provided for this workshop.
Each attendee will take home their hand-tied bouquet.
Please note: places are limited to 6 people per workshop to allow for social distancing. Workshop tools will be sterilised before and after the workshop.
