For those who have some experience of painting in oils, but have little or no experience of painting outdoors and always fancied having a go!Roger Dellar is a member of the ROI, RSMA, RI, PS and the Wapping Group of Artists and is an extremely experienced tutor.
Over this 2 day workshop, you will cover oil painting techniques, how to select a composition, lay on the paint in an ‘alla prima’ approach and learn how to capture a painting in 1 – 2.5 hours.
There will be demonstrations of techniques as well as plenty of individual advice and guidance given. Participants can expect to achieve at least one completed painting, as well as plenty of practice.
The workshop will take place both indoors at the Lifford Hall and outdoors around the very picturesque Cotswold village of Broadway.
