DIGEST-VF is a validated grading system for videofluoroscopy, devised by Professor Kate Hutcheson.
About this Event

The day will include background to the development of DIGEST, live practice with scoring using DIGEST, and implementation into practice.

Professor Hutcheson is the Chief for Speech Pathology and Audiology and Director of Research. She has authored over 100 peer-reviewed and invited articles and has funding support from the National Institutes of Health, the MD Anderson Institutional Research Grant Award program, and a fellowship award from the Cancer Prevention Research Institute of Texas UT Health Innovation Training Program. She is a globally renowned, accomplished clinician and educator who lectures nationally and internationally on radiation associated dysphagia and head and neck cancer rehabilitation.
