About this Event
Roll your sleeves up and create colourful and dynamic decorated fabrics. Batik and tie-dye are brilliant ways to transform cloth and clothes, and have been used by artists and makers for centuries. Come away with a range of unique and sometimes surprising results that you can wear proudly or use for creative textile projects. In this fun, hands on workshop you’ll have the opportunity to try both techniques and take home the wonderful outcomes.
Bring an item of clothing to dye/decorate if wanted. Preferably pale coloured, clean, natural fibres (cotton) as any poly/nylon mixes won’t take dye well.
