Join us for our Intimate Fourth of July Spectacular on July 4, starting at 7 p.m. and ending when the Virginia City fireworks show is finished. This is a truly special annual event in a unique venue away from the crowds, designed to offer a relaxing, tasteful, and festive event with one-of-a-kind views of the fireworks. The event includes live music from Phil Prunier, hors d'oeuvres by Secret Service Catering, cocktails and other delicious beverages, a unique silent auction, seven fine art galleries, theater, library and lounge. "Absolutely Abstracts" by Pam Brekas is a seasonal exhibition and provides a vibrant and colorful experience, perfectly pairing with the legendary VC fireworks show.
Tickets are available to view the fireworks show from the third-story balcony, front porch, or newly redesigned garden space. The Art Center front grounds have beautiful improvements by Bighorn Tree Service, including a flagstone pathway and numerous plantings. Garden Seats include tables, chairs, and linens for an elevated, intimate experience. Balcony and porch seats will also enjoy stunning views of the new landscape, town, and Mount Davidson.
St. Mary’s Art Center members receive special discounted pricing. Ambassador level members and above have the exclusive opportunity to rent individual guest rooms to stay overnight and extend their relaxing holiday celebration on the Comstock. Tickets are open to the public. Complimentary on-site parking is included on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additional parking will be available nearby.
